JJ is a Liverpool fan, a hack journalist and a dedicated bar stool philosopher.

Favourite goal: "Dennis Bergkamp V Argentina, 1998 World Cup. He took a 60-yard pass with one touch, beat a defender in the six yard box and smashed it in the top corner. Champion stuff."

Favourite Moment: "Keano takes Overmars legs from under him at Landsdowne Road in September 2001. The reducer I believe it's called."
